Our current efforts focus on expanding Oregon’s presence in the Middle East through food diplomacy, cultural exchange, and subnational advocacy. We connect Oregon-grown products with buyers in emerging global markets—prioritizing transparency, mutual benefit, and long-term trust

About the founder
Donna Gustafson is a sitting City Councilor in Forest Grove, Oregon, and an emerging voice in subnational diplomacy. She led the creation of Oregon’s first law enforcement sabbatical program, spearheaded downtown revitalization efforts, and has represented her city in national leadership roles through the National League of Cities.
Through Global Grove Strategies, she has extended her leadership beyond city limits—building relationships with embassies, ministries, and grassroots cooperatives in Jordan, Qatar, and beyond. Her approach to diplomacy is grounded in storytelling, strategy, and service.
